Integrated Security Systems.

Three security systems from three vendors is not security. It is three companies to call and nobody who owns the gap between them.

Who this is for

Businesses with more than one system already in place, and anyone who has tried to match a door event against camera footage by hand.

Security gets bought in pieces. Cameras after a break-in. Access control when somebody left without returning a key. An alarm because the insurer asked. Each one is reasonable on its own. The problem is that an incident does not respect those boundaries, and neither does the investigation afterwards.

When the systems are integrated, a door forced at 2am is an alarm, a door event, and the footage of the person who did it, on one timeline. When they are not, it is three exports, three timestamps that do not quite agree, and somebody losing an afternoon scrubbing video.

So we start with an assessment rather than a product. What are you actually protecting, where would somebody realistically get in, and what would you need in your hands afterwards. Then we design to those answers and install it as one system, under one scope, with one number to call when it matters.

How we run it

  1. A walkthrough and risk assessment first, looking at your real doors, sightlines and blind spots.
  2. One design covering video, access, alarm and intercom, specified to work together.
  3. Cabling and devices installed to the same documented standard as the networks we build.
  4. Handover with training, plus a maintenance agreement if you want us keeping it healthy.

Questions

Integrated Security Systems, answered honestly.

We already have cameras and an alarm. Can you integrate what we have?

Often, yes. It depends on the age and the platform. Modern systems generally talk to each other over open standards, while older proprietary kit sometimes will not. We will assess what you have and tell you honestly what integrates, what is worth keeping and what is holding you back. Replacing everything is not automatically the answer.

What does a security assessment involve?

We walk the site with you and look at how somebody would actually get in, what is worth taking, where your sightlines fail, and what you would need after an incident. You get recommendations tied to real risk rather than a quote for a round number of cameras.

Do you monitor the alarm yourselves?

We design, install and maintain the systems, and we work with monitoring providers for the monitoring itself. Our 24/7 support covers the system: if something fails at 3am, you call us and we respond.
